YOU'RE INVITED TO TAKE FIVE THURSDAY, JUNE 24
Enterprise Centre Sault Ste. Marie would like to cordially invite you to the June 24 Chamber of Commerce Take Five event, sponsored by ECSSM and Passport to Prosperity.
The event will be hosted at the Delta Sault Ste. Marie Waterfront Inn from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. It will offer relaxed networking forums for members of the local business community to network and learn more about the Ontario-wide initiative Passport to Prosperity.
The initiative is designed to increase employer involvement in experiential learning opportunities for the benefit of high school students. These opportunities provide students with a chance to explore career options, gain valuable work experience and advance their skills.
For employers, the program provides a cost-effective solution to recruiting, training and retaining young workers. Not only is this a great way to provide Sault Ste. Marie with the tools and resources necessary to respond to the developmental needs of our local workforce, it will also contribute to the growth of our local economy.
Take Five is a come-and-go, so please drop by at any time. The cost to attend is $5 for Chamber members and $10 for non-members. Please feel free to drop by for a little distraction, a little entertainment and a lot of networking. An assortment of finger foods and refreshments will be served throughout the evening.
NEED CLOTHING FOR A JOB INTERVIEW?
The Sault Youth Association is now offering free clothing to help people with their job interviews or to make their new job a success. All items are for "keeps."
